Protecting confidential data

March 3, 2010 Product News

The importance of protecting sensitive and confidential material is a growing concern for many, particularly during a difficult climate where the number of companies pitching for the same business is much higher than before – it has never been more crucial to ensure your sensitive information, concepts or trade secrets don’t fall into the wrong hands.

In line with the need to protect data without the need for significant investment, InvisiView Media has launched a new piece of technology that allows the sender of sensitive or confidential information to distribute data (whether this is text, video or sound) in a secure format via a web link to the intended recipient.  For £2.50 per invite code with no minimum spend (ie per recipient), users are in complete control of the information they send and the sophisticated technology minimises the risk of editing, downloading,  altering, printing or saving the material.

Jan Gunner, director at InvisiView Media explains, “Although recent news would have many of us hopeful of an upturn in the economy, the reality is, many businesses are still experiencing the backlash of the recession. Money is tight, any plans to invest in new technologies are in many cases still on hold, but organisations are also recognising the importance of protecting confidential information. Our recent survey revealed that 98 percent of employees believe it is vital to protect confidential data; unfortunately one third still send this kind of material out in an unsecured and vulnerable fashion. The InvisiView technology is designed to give businesses peace of mind for a low, pay as you go fee, and without the need to invest in high-cost software solutions or complex IT installations.”
