Mobile product for Field Service market

February 23, 2012 Product News

IRIS Accounting & Business Solutions is shaking up how field service operatives conduct their business by launching IRIS Service Mobile, a new solution that enables field service operatives to access their IRIS service management solution from Android mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.

IRIS Service Mobile has been developed in response to the increasing demand on organisations to gain easier access to their software from any location. It offers full support for multiple Android mobile devices, providing field service operatives with the means to access accurate, business critical information on the move.

With IRIS Service Mobile, field service professionals can get their daily work sent directly to their mobile device and can also access technical documents, capture photos, automate timesheets, control parts and receive customer signatures. The service also enables field-service engineers to complete billing faster and paper-free, saving both time and money. Importantly, IRIS Service Mobile also provides users with the ability to work offline where necessary.

Paul Sparkes, product director, IRIS Accounting & Business Solutions, said: “This latest product is designed to give customers an even greater competitive edge in the markets they operate in. It provides all the core functionality and real-time information that engineers need out in the field from a range of smartphone and tablet devices.”

Sparkes concludes: “Our development team continue to push the boundaries to provide the latest product innovations that will make a big difference to customers. This latest offering tackles many of the challenges facing businesses that operate in today’s fast paced environment, enabling them to work smarter than ever before.”
