As the market leading publication VitAL Magazine focuses in on emerging trends, technologies, and concepts to ensure our readers are kept up-to-date and informed.  With cloud computing and virtualisation showing rapid growth this will be the next area to be put under the spot-light.

Cloud Computing – The next generation

VitAL Magazine, the authoritative, thought provoking, and market leading publication on all issues related to the implementation of IT and how that impacts the business will, in its July and September issues, be raising awareness, educating, and delivering cutting edge content to help IT management get to grips with cloud computing and virtualisation.

Research carried out recently by VersionOne suggests that 41% of senior IT professionals ‘didn’t know’ what cloud computing was, while 17% thought ‘it was internet based computing’, a further 11% considered it to be ‘a mix of internet-based computing, software as a service, outsourced or managed services’.  The remainder thought it was a mix of all of the above.

With statistics like this it is only right, as the leading provider of information, that VitAL Magazine allocates an entire section in its January issue to the suppliers that empower this burgeoning sector.  This will then be swiftly followed up in the March issue, which will benefit from additional exposure and circulation at two leading exhibitions, with a 16-24 page bound in supplement that covers the various nuances of cloud computing.

The aim of both issues is to add clarity to the concept and realisation of cloud computing while profiling the leading suppliers in this space with a view to generally raising awareness and helping push this growing sector forward.

The July  section will:

  • Provide key vendor profiles
  • Understand what products/services are on offer
  • Generally raise awareness of cloud solutions

The September supplement will answer:

  • What is cloud computing & virtualisation
  • How does it work
  • What are the pro’s and con’s
  • What security risks are involved
  • Who provides it and how much does it cost
  • When is the most appropriate time to act
  • What are the key steps to delivery
  • How will it impact the business

Benefits

The benefits of getting involved in the July and September issues are vast and include, but are not limited to:

  • Editorial interview and profile
